laksmir yasya cha vakshasi

yasyate hridaye samvit

tam nrisimham aham bhaje

"Lord Nrisimhadeva is always assisted by Sarasvati, the goddess of learning and He is always embracing to His chest the goddess of fortune. The Lord is always complete in knowledge within Himself. vidikshu dikshurdhvam adhah samantad

antar bahir bhagavan narasimhah

prahapayal loka-bhayam svanena

sva-tejasa grasta-samasta-tejaha

“Prahlada Maharaja loudly chanted the holy name of Lord Nrisimha. May Lord Nrisimhadeva, roaring for His devotee, Prahlada Maharaja, protect us from all fear of dangers created by stalwart leaders in all directions through poison, weapons, water, fire, air, and so on. May the Lord cover their influence by His own transcendental influence. May Nrisimhadeva protect us from all directions and in all corners, above, below, within and without.” (Bhag.6.8.34)

namas te narasimhaya, prahladahlada-dayine

hiranyakasipor vakshah, sila-tanka-nakhalaye

“I offer my respectful obeisances unto You, Lord Narasimhadeva. You are the giver of pleasure to Maharaja Prahlada, and Your nails cut the chest of Hiranyakashipu like a chisel cutting stone.”

ito narasimhah parato narasimho, yato yato yami tato narasimhah

bahir narasimho hrdaye narasimho, narasimham adim sharanam prapadye

“Lord Narasimhadeva is here, and He is also there on the opposite side. Wherever I go, there I see Lord Narasimhadeva. He is outside and within my heart. Therefore I take shelter of Lord Narasimhadeva, the original Supreme Personality of Godhead.”

tava kara-kamala-vare nakham adbhuta-shrngam

dalita-hiranyakashipu-tanu-bhrngam

keshava dhrta-narahari-rupa jaya jagadisa hare

“O my Lord, Your hands are very beautiful, like the lotus flower, but with Your long nails You have ripped apart the wasp Hiranyakashipu. Unto You, Lord of the universe, I offer my humble obeisance.”

“All glories to Sri Narasimhadeva, all glories to Narasimhadeva, the Lord of Prahlada! All glories to You who are like a honeybee always hovering about the lotus face of Sri.” (Cc. 2.8.5)
